Day 6: And Let The Jumping Begin...
It`s finally happened.
The very thing I`ve been looking forward to (since first getting the sugar gliders), has at last taken place tonight! Both Tank and Mocha have begun leaping from our hands - mostly onto their cage! I was so excited the first time it happened, that I nearly forgot to pull out the digital camera!
Surprisingly, Tank is the more avid jumper of the two.

We had them out for little over an hour, just handling them and encouraging them to 'fly'. Actually, I`m half tempted to buy some kind of play pen type deal or mesh caging so they can roam free-range in a safe and controlled environment (outside their cage, I mean). The computer room is safe enough - this is true - however, there’s always the concern that they might sneak in behind the units themselves, and we simply do not want them scurrying all over cords.
